December 17th, we visited Mount Vernon on a educational tour lead by Leise. The National Thanksgiving Turkey, pardoned by President Obama, was there. During our tour of the mansion, we got a rare tour of the third floor bedrooms.

December 10th - We helped our Chartering Organization, the Hartwood Presbyterian Church, perform a cleanup of the Meditation Trail where two dead tree tops had fallen and many limbs strewn. The tree tops were sawed up and all limbs stacked outside of trail and the meditation area with the cross.

December 18th, we will have our Court of Awards to honor the acheivements and hand out patches for attending events.

December 27th, Land Navigation event

January 6-8th, Venturing Ski weekend at Mystic Mountain in Pennsylvania. We have 23 signed up so far!

• 26-28th - Spring Break Whitewater Canoeing trip - Our 3 day trip ended up as 2 days because the river was to high on the first day so we had to wait one day. There were many class II rapids on the first day. The trip ended with a set of class IIIs which were a great experience for the crew. Photos

• June 4th - Rafting Trip on the Yough river, PA. There were 11 of us, we went as guide escorted which meant we did not have a guide in our rafts. The outfitter was Wilderness Voyageurs. We had a blast! Photos
